Impressions of the Open Monastery Doors Day

On 10th September, Sirisampanno Monastery held its Open Monastery Day. Many visitors from near and far took the opportunity to get to know the monastery.

There was a traditional rice pindapat where visitors had the opportunity to give rice in alms bowls to the monks and nuns. After the common noon Dāna, Venerable Bhante Seelawansa gave a Dhamma talk to give the visitors an overview of the Buddhist teachings.

Afterwards, there was a guided tour of the barn to present the planned building project.

The mayor and pastor also attended the day.

Many thanks to all the wonderful helpers who contributed to the success of the day.
